About Me

My name is Joe Bissol.  I currently work as a Sr. Platform Architect in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  I have been involved in software engineering, specifically in the Microsoft stack, since the very late 1990's.  I created this blog after working with countless numbers of people and interviewing countless numbers more.  I seem to view the world of software engineering differently than most.  I say this because there are many things that seem to be "common knowledge" in my industry that I have very fundamental disagreements. I created this blog as an outlet to talk about such things.
